I actually thought that the excavator was going to get caught up in the backhoe and get flipped over... They are on a pretty steep grade there, no doubt.

I would have curled the bucket farther so the straps could not come off.

The operator actually uncurled the bucket at the end - I think it might have stayed if he kept it in its original position. FAIL

I noticed that as well. If it survived intact, it might make for a good CAT endorsement.
I rolled a CASE skid steer down a 25 foot railroad embankment, backwards. That was scary. Had seat belt on so no injuries.

crazy, only thing I've ever rolled is a go cart going about 30 MPH, it had a roll cage on it so no injuries. Probably one of the scarier driving moments I've had as well.
